JOM Case : "Kaifeng Railway Station Shines with a New Look"

On May 10, 2023, the renovation project of Kaifeng Railway Station, undertaken by China Railway Seventh Group, officially started. JOM Lighting provided various lighting products and solutions, witnessing the past and present of this century-old station through light, illuminating its transformation.

Kaifeng Railway Station
Founded in the first year of Xuantong (1909), Kaifeng Station is the first station on the Longhai Railway. In May 1977, the main building for passenger transport of Kaifeng Station was completed. On August 4, 2000, Kaifeng Station was promoted to a first-class station, and in 2003, the station building of Kaifeng Station was rebuilt and put into use.
This historic railway station, after several renovations and upgrades, presents the cultural and regional characteristics of the ancient city of Kaifeng and its era in a "Song-style antique" style. It welcomes passengers from all over the world with a new look, enhancing the city's image and demonstrating its cultural heritage.

The "Major Renovation" of the Century-Old Railway Station
Kaifeng Station was established during the Qing Dynasty and has a history of a hundred years. With the rapid development of the times, it is inevitable to upgrade and transform in line with the changes of the times!
With the official launch of the "renovation plan" of the railway station, JOM Lighting is fortunate to be involved in it, customizing various lighting products and solutions for it, meeting the lighting needs of the railway station, and further showing the unique era features of the railway station under the light.

Customized Lighting Solutions
JOM Lighting has an excellent and mature non-standard customization team, providing non-standard lighting products and solutions for the station building, comprehensive office building, and public security office building of Kaifeng Railway Station, from related design such as creativity, deepening, production, to product selection customization, and later field construction and technical guidance.
To match the era features and characteristics of the railway station, JOM Lighting customized the "wood color" frame downlight for it, with a color temperature of 4000K, making it more integrated into this "Song-style antique" atmosphere. At the same time, it used panel lights, ceiling lights, and T5 and other series of stable and durable conventional lighting, taking into account energy-saving and environmental protection, visual comfort, and cultural display, enhancing the overall image of the railway station and improving the travel experience of passengers.
